Rising Wing/Forward, NBL1 North (Gold Coast Rollers) & US College Standout

Nevarda Higgins is a 2005-born Australian basketballer (Gold Coast, QLD) whose game blends length, shooting touch, and two-way competitiveness. A former US college athlete with USC Salkehatchie, he returned to compete in NBL1 North with the Gold Coast Rollers, bringing a growing résumé and a calm, clutch presence late in games.

Higgins’ 2023–24 season in the United States marked a key step. He earned Region 10 Newcomer of the Year honours while posting efficient scoring splits and impacting both ends of the floor—an arc he’s now building on at home. Nevarda combines size, athleticism, and composure to excel as a versatile two-way player.

Guided by NDN, Nevarda is focused on sharpening his shot profile, expanding playmaking reads, and leveraging his size on switches—turning potential into consistent production and long-term professional opportunities.
